Friendly staff, great company, good atmosphere, amazingly delicious food and drinks

My first time here and I really enjoyed my visit. They have an extensive pub menu that I chose nachos from...they were delicious though could have used more cheese :) There are lots if Tv's for the sports fans and a pool table , darts area . It has a great view from the back of the bar that spans over the inlet to Downtown Vancouver . I will visit their patio when summer returns to enjoy some friends, good food , cocktails and that beautiful view.

The most interesting thing about Ancient Greece are the the extremely rich and diverse mythological tales. From the Titans to the Gods of Olympus to the various Demi Gods and human heros, the Ancient Greeks put forth countless works that remain timeless and cement them as one of the most culturally rich and creative civilizations of all time.A truly astounding society.Oh ya and Sailor Hagers is pretty solid bro.

Great food and service

Went there with my cousins who were visiting and absolutely loved it. wlWould have given a 5 star had their kitchen not been closed that day but ill change it whenever I drop by again and taste the food

A local favourite a lot of the servers are the same ones that have been there for years and they are great. So nice when there's something in the neighbourhood that doesn't change. Not everybody embraces change

Convenient local. Close to Seabus. Good food. Great pub experience. Recent renovations. Great spot to watch the game with friends.

Very friendly staff and nice ambience

This is a very casual, low key, old school neighbourhood pub. There is a decent selection of beer and the food is average at best. Don't expect fancy, know it will be filling, and you will be fine. If there was more than a nickle sized piece of fish on the fish sliders they would have been decent. The fries and sliced beef sandwich we had was good. It's too bad smoking is allowed on the patio. Depending on the crowd size it can get quite smoky since the patio isn't that large.

Perfect! Delicious burgers. Food arrived hot. Buns toasted. Side salad delicious. Fast courteous service. Never disappoints.

The food was amazing. Had the cod and chips huge portion size,one friend had halibut and chips, her piece of halibut was half the size of one of my pieces so I shared. Other two had the beef dip which they loved! They really liked the horseradish in the beef sandwich part! Our beverages on the other hand were terrible. Our table ordered a diet coke and two cokes and the server gave one regular coke to the single and diet coke to the two others. When we tried to let her know she refused to believe us.

Nice old school pub with very decent grubs ! Lunch specials are great for a working day or stay awhile for the afternoon :) This time we came on a Saturday night after nine and the place was happening ! In a relaxed, pub kind of way. We sat on the covered, smoking allowed, patio and had the large nachos with our drinks. Cheap Trick's I Want You To Want Me was on and everybody was singing along, made us smile while we enjoyed our late night snack.A great pub n grubs experience anytime of the day.

I had a small group of friends watch the Canucks game here. Awesome food, good beer selection, and they even give out player names so that you have the chance to win a free drink if that player scores!

Casual, not trendy, good food, great service, never too crowded!

Nice to go back to a pub after 3 years and see the same faces. Donna is a highlight and the boys at the bar are always entertaining.

Atmosphere is ok but dated and dark. Food was good and service was decent.

Place is alright atmosphere could be better drinks are never super cold. Good service though.

Very good. Just don't order fries. Owner buys cheapest end shavings. I ordered it twice. Didn't pay for them 2nd time.

Still open for take-out despite COVID! Amazing value from this awesome neighbourhood pub. We absolutely love their burgers and fries or Caesar salad. The Caesar salad is probably the best we’ve ever had - homemade croutons, real Parmesan, bacon - so good! The burgers are also 10/10 every time. We’ve also been on the weekends pre-quarantine and it was very lively with a solid selection of drinks. Super thankful for Sailor Hagar’s during this tough time. Add them to your take-out rotation!

Great place for a late drink or pool game on the north shore. Nice bartenders and has a bouncer on the weekends. Gets a little too roudy for my liking though, but of you like crouds and mingling, will do the job.

A cool down to earth pub.Food was delicious (Cajun fish tacos and a side of fries and gravy) Pool table, darts and Foosball (the Foosball table was absolutely filthy though) A great place to bring the gang out and have a great time to watch sports and enjoy the atmosphere, with a decent sized enclosed patio.

Great pub fair and environment. Outdoor patio still has smoking so that's a bit of a turn off. Other than that, great staff and regular pub food! Good place to watch the game!

Did not have food but it looked good. Outdoor patio is basically for the smokers... Nice atmosphere.

Excellent food, below averages prices for the quality level, polite and professional staff, very clean. Good selection of drinks, too.

Good service, food was tasty, prices reasonable. Ordered the all day breakfast at 10pm and they served it to me no questions asked with a bowl of fruit. If that's not ALL DAY breakfast I don't know what is.

Went here for a big family dinner. I didn't like my fish and chips (too soggy) but everyone else liked their dishes. If I go again, I just won't get the fish.

Nice little pub, great for a sit down and a couple of LARGE beers. Staff are very friendly, it's usually not too busy inside and there's even a smoking area outside, on the patio with a decent view of the water. Nothing too fancy but worth making a stop if your looking for a good spot to sit and have a beer!

last time is was here was about 7 years ago and was just a regular neighbourhood pub with nothing great about it . However, i came back last month on a friday night and place is completely renovated and the vibe was amazing (plus the place was completely full).i dont give it a 5 star just because of the waitress. She seemed she was definitely unhappy on being there and never smiled once at us nor made us feel comfortable.anyhow, great place to go for drinks on a weekend

This place is located within the commercial area by the key, good pricing and it's a nice place. There is a pay parking underground or 2 hours around the near by streets. It's got a patio with smoking area, table games and a pool table. Friendly staff.

Stright up the one the great last old school looking remaining pubs in nvan. You can still smoke on the balcony. They have good food.. serve it late. You can play games and watch the game.
